Dutch traditions have strong roots in our group. First of them is a hard work. On 5th December our former student Christine Stokes visited us with a program of a small mini(nano 🙂 ) symposium of 2 talks, followed by lots of science discussion in our group.

The second tradition is doing “gezellig” things. In the evening after all the science talking whole our group, including its most important members, went for a meal with a speaker. I think Sinterklaas was at the table too 🙂
