On Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 July, Martin attended the Soft Matter Showcase meeting in Durham organised by the SOFI Centre for Doctoral Training.  The talks covered a wide range of topics, including light-controlled swimming bacteria, metal-coated droplets for drug delivery and making fade-proof paint by learning from how nature produces colour.
