Successful CECAM grant bidding

Xiaohu Guo from Daresbury Laboratory, UK, Fabien Paillusson, Marco Pinna and Andrei Zvelindovsky from the University of Lincoln, UK and Ryoichi Yamamoto from the University of Kyoto in Japan have secured a grant from CECAM (Centre Européen de Calcul Atomique et Moléculaire) for organizing a CECAM Workshop “Emerging behaviour in active matter: computational challenges” in 2019.

Dick Bedeaux – International Visiting Fellow 2018

From 15 October till 9 of November 2018 Professor Dick Bedeaux from the Norwegian University of Science and technology (NTNU) is visiting our Centre for Computational Physics as one of first two International Visiting Fellows supported by the Lincoln Institute for Advanced Studies. Professor Bedeaux is a world leader in the field of non-equilibrium thermodynamics.
