Andrei obtained his PhD in 1993 from Odessa National University in Ukraine with the thesis “Thermal fluctuations of disperse systems” written under the late Professor Alexander Zatovsky, and continued there on research and academic posts. In 1997-1999 he worked at the University of Groningen and in 2000-2004 – at Leiden University in the Netherlands. In 2004 he moved to the University of Central Lancashire in UK, where he is now a full professor of Computational and Theoretical Physics.
Andrei’s interests are in the broad area of computer simulation and theory of Soft and Active Matter.
