Dung Ly is from Hue, Vietnam. He got his PhD in Computational Physics from Salford University in Manchester in 2005 under the supervision of Prof. Ian Morrision.
After finishing his PhD studies Dung moved to the University of Central Lancashire and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in our group till 2007. His research was on block copolymers using computer simulation program SUSHI, which is based on self-consistent field theory (SCFT).
After that he moved to the Brunel University in West London for his new post as a Research Fellow, working in a project “Matter Compiler”, headed by Dr. Harris Makatsoris.
From April 2011 he is back in our group at UCLan for a short project as a Research Associate.
