2 minutes from Preston rail station.

On foot:

10 minutes (850 meters) from Preston rail station entering Leighton building via the main university entrance in Foster building.

By train:

2 hours 8 minutes direct service from London Euston.

By air:

Manchester airport is the largest in the aria and served by 55 minutes train link to Preston.

Liverpool airport is the second largest and provides a good competition hosting Easyjet. Airlink 500 bus (35 minutes) to Liverpool Lime Street train station plus 54 minutes train (1 change) bring you to Preston (see connections). It will take 1 hour by car.

Blackpool airport is the closest (30 minutes by car) but also the smallest.

Special airport taxis (booked in advance) are common.
