We are the Computational Physics Group, which was founded on 1st September 2004 at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Preston, UK, when Andrei Zvelindovsky took the post of Senior Lecturer (=Assist.Prof.[US]) in Computational Physics at UCLan moving to UK from a temporary post at the Leiden University, the Netherlands. In 2006 Andrei was promoted to a Reader and in 2009 to a full Professor of Computational & Theoretical Physics.
On 1st September 2014 the group relocated to the University of Lincoln, where Andrei became the Founding Head of the School of Mathematics and Physics.
