The Materials Chemistry Consortium conference will be held at the University of Lincoln from 3-5 September. The Materials Chemistry Consortium is a EPSRC funded High End Computing network that administers a substantial fraction of the time available on the national supercomputer, ARCHER.
Work presented will highlight the abilities of modern atomistic simulation methods to reveal details of processes and properties in areas including Catalysis and Reactivity; Surface and interfacial science; Environmental materials research; Nano and defect chemistry; Biomaterials; Materials for energy storage; Materials for energy generation; and Soft matter. This should provide a comprehensive overview of the ability to elucidate material properties in silico (on a computer).
A programme for the conference can be found here and the conference website is here .
All are welcome to attend the talks. There will also be a mini Software Workshop on the morning of 3rd September.
