On Thursday 19th September, Claire McIlroy – a new research fellow to the School of Maths & Physics – organised the British Society of Rheology’s annual Non-Newtonian Club meeting, at the University of Nottingham.
The theme of this year’s meeting was “Rheology for Processing” with a focus session on Additive Manufacturing. The audience enjoyed 11 invited presentations from speakers across the UK and Europe.
Congratulations to poster competition winner, Matthew Elsemore, University of Nottingham, for his poster on “Characterisation of novel polymers using pre scale-up material quantities”. The poster prize was generously sponsored by the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851.
