Today, Dr Javier Diaz (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland) gave a talk Block copolymer phase transition induced by nanoparticle anisotrophy at Polymer Physics Graduate Symposium, which had over 50 participants. Javier got his PhD at our centre in Lincoln.

Javier Díaz was born in Seville, Spain, in 1992. He studied a bachelor degree in Physics focused on Atomic, Nuclear and Particle physics at the Universidad de Sevilla. The final project, named 'Hydrodynamic equations: deduction and applications' was supervised by Dr Álvaro Domínguez and covered hydrodynamic interactions.
