‘X-ray scattering in polymer science’
by Prof Paul Topham and Dr Matt Derry, Aston Polymer Research Group, Aston Advanced Materials, Aston University, Birmingham, UK.
Abstract:
Our research interests are primarily focused on block copolymer synthesis and self-assembly, both in solution and in the bulk, to generate materials for a range of practical applications ranging from biomedicine to energy storage. X-ray scattering is an advanced characterisation technique that can unlock unrivalled nanoscale information about self-assembled systems and can help to realise the true potential of advanced materials.
