You may have heard that getting a PhD is really hard. It takes a lot of time and effort to succeed. This is true, no doubt about it. However, there are certain things you can do to succeed quickly.

Here are 10 simple steps you can take to accelerate your success.

1. You need to be clear about your goals. Is it to get a PhD and get 3 papers published? If you have enrolled then you have a made a choice to do a PhD. Your overall goal has already been set. Clearly state your goal by writing down in a very specific positive and empowering way. Keep the statement simple. In this case simple is powerful. State the goal as if it has already being achieved.  State it in the present tense. Don’t say “I will have a PhD is 3 years time and hope to get some…
