On Thursday 21/02/19, Fabien Paillusson delivered an IOP public lecture on Entropy entitled “Does Mr Entropy need Phoenix Wright?” at Keele University.

The lecture was followed by very interesting questions from the public revolving around granular materials, the entropy of the universe, entropy as a relative or absolute quantity and entropy in quantum mechanics.

We surely hope that the questions did not stop there and that the lecture sparked further discussions among the members of the audience after the session came to a end.
