On 19 September 2019 Javier Diaz defended his PhD thesis Computer Simulations of Block Copolymer Nanocomposite Systems in an oral viva. The viva examiners were Professor Allan D. Mackie (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, Spain) and Dr Fabien Paillusson (our school); the panel was chaired by Dr Tasnim Munshi from the School of Chemistry. Javier was our school’s first computational physics PhD student who started and completed his work entirely at the University of Lincoln.
