“Kitchen Flow” BSR’s Non-Newtonian Club Meeting

On Thursday 15th of September, 2022, Claire attended the joint British Society of Rheology and Physics of Fluids Non Newtonian Club on “Kitchen Flow”.

The Non-Newtonian Club is an informal rheology discussion group that provides one-day meetings with the aim of bringing together experienced and not-so-experienced rheologists from industry and academia. This year the meeting was hosted virtually on the Zoom platform by Francesco Del Guidice from University of Swansea.

The virtual format attracted over 100 participants from across the globe. We enjoyed 8 interesting presentations throughout the day given by international speakers based in both academia and industy. Topics ranged from vegan sausages, no-yeast pizza, and pate vs foie-gras to tea films, oreology, and washing raw chicken.

The recorded lectures can be found here.
